- **********Watson's Block Game***********
-
- How to play
-
- Try to navigate 4 equally colored blocks in a row, either horizontally or vertically.
- Four equal blocks disappear and make room for other blocks above them.
- Use the cursor UP key to change the order of the blocks within the falling block.
- Use the cursor DOWN key to increase the falling speed of the falling block.
- Use the LEFT / RIGHT CURSOR keys to move the falling block left or right.
-
- In level 1, every vanished block makes 1 point to the score, in level 2 it makes 2 points etc.
- After 100 points, the level goes up. Highest level is level 6. Speed increases with every level.
- You can set a fixed level int the Options/Settings dialog by unchecking the "Increase level"
- checkbox and moving the slider to the desired level and speed.
- You can choose one of three available block types and whether sound is played or not.
- Changes can be made within a running game (game is paused while settings are made).
-
- The meaning of the little buttons above the playfield (toolbar) is explained via tooltips, when
- you move the mouse cursor over a button and leave it there for a little while.
- The button's meanings are: New Game | Options | Pause | Help | Exit.
- You can use the "P" key for toggling pause and "ESC" for exiting the game.
- When pause is on, use any key to resume the game.
-
- All settings and the highscore are saved to disk and loaded again the next time you play.
- Have fun!
